Isn't Study Leave Supposed to Be Relaxing?

Hi all.

Yes, as the title depicts, I am officially on Study Leave! NO MORE NORMAL SCHOOL LESSONS!

I am shattered, I've been ironing since 10:45 this morning! I figured I would keep myself busy by doing some chores around the house. Yesterday, I cleaned my room and cleaned the lounge. Easy enough. But today I set myself the ridiculous task of doing some ironing for my mum... not realising there were two whole baskets full of the stuff! I started at (like I said) 10:45, then had to go back to school at 12:00 for a Science revision lesson for an hour which finished at 1:20, walked back home and then started ironing again!!! The things I do for my family...

So anyway, I haven't had chance to write anything about my exams recently. They've been going reletavely well. English was really easy, I went in well prepared. Science Ideas in Context... was hard... I MEAN REALLY HARD! Maths wasn't particulily kind either. But the rest were fine. I still have Graphics and 3 Science papers to do *sigh* Crap... 3 Science Papers is a cruel thing for anyone to go through.

I haven't had any money income for... what, a month now? So I'm skint. But then again I am working on Friday, doing some waitressing and hopefully Saturday at a ' Pirates of the Caribbean' party (which. I'd like to say, is a grown adults party, so it WILL get messy!) I've been job-hunting everywhere, I'm becoming desperate! But nowhere has got back to me yet which is driving me NUTS! Talk about rejection!

Anyway, I'm going to eat dinner now!

I second the feelings on finding a job...I have plenty of money, so it's not like I'm broke...my parents just want to "teach me a life lesson" or something like that. Nobody has called me back, and it's aggrivating.

By the way, happy belated birthday. Sixteen years old, right? I remembered because our birthdays are so close to each other.

..your gettin annoyed with rejection////YOU!?......i've handed in overal about6-8 cvs in place's that have jobs going.........LOL! anyways good luck lol you'll need it to find a job in this bludy place lol

You remembered? Thank you :hug: Yeah 16 on the 8th May.

It is aggrevating because I feel like it's my own fault they don't want me. And because I don't have any GCSE's yet, I can't say 'Yeah, I did this at school and I got this grade for it'

Yea, Iv had zero income for months. It sux big time, cus there are no jobs local, cos I live in the middle of nowhere, an if it's too far, I'll probably be losing money trying to afford the bus fares!

it's also annoying because school got out, and EVERYONE is looking for a job. you're just another fish in the sea with no experience working, and you're VERY freshly sixteen. Which is stupid.

I know, pain in the ass! And my mum is saying things like 'Get a job before anyone else gets it' and a few hours later she'll say 'Nah, I didn't really want you working there in the first place...' They just want discounts if you work in a shop...
