Being Anemic Sucks!!
TiredIt's 7:52pm now and I'm absolutely shattered T.T A while back I went to the doctors and I was confirmed 'Medically Anemic'. For those of you who don't know anemia is, it's low iron levels in the blood. Its treatable with iron tablets or multivitamins (both taste rather foul if you must ask ><
So anemia officially sucks. By lunch at college, I'm totally knackered and don't feel like doing or going anywhere! It sucks so much because people will start thinking I'm a total bore (if they don't already). Other symptoms include dizziness and sometimes nausea. People also say it's linked to poor concentration, but I've always had that so it doesn't count!
I'm so tired of taking my tablets but if I don't take them, I'll probably get worse! If anyone can recommend anything, please help!!

hmmmmm. . . well my best advice would be to ask your tutor if you could take some of your work to do at home.
And while you're doing that, maybe you wshould GO TO SLEEP! You never know, it might help.

Well, I am anemic myself. Or yeah, I got iron deficientcy anemia. The doctors gave me those kind of tablets and yeah they tend to suck so I hear you on that. What I would do is continue at least taking the iron pills and not the heavy duty stuff. That way, your body will be more adjusted to it and then if you wish you can start taking the heavy duty ones. (i say heavy duty as in the icky ones >< bleh!)
Anemia is something that shouldn't be overstressing. Then again, when I first figured out I had it I thought OMG I GOT THIS HORRIBLE DISEASE!! WHAT WILL OTHERS THINK?! but after taking the iron pills and keeping up with the routine my doctor had for me I feel better. You'll get better ^^ just keep it up love! And I do agree with pure-evil257 getting sleep especially when your first starting to take those pills will help out a lot. It'll give your body a good relaxing time to get adjusted

Yeah, at first I was really freaking out worrying about why I was so tired, but it turns out my mum's anemic too, so I wasn't as worried. When I told people at college, some were like 'HOLY SHIT, YOUR GONNA DIE!!' and I was just like '...Heh heh heh, no'.

Anywho best thing to do would probably be to stick to the medication even if it is a foul experiance it'll do you good in the long run.
